The Department of Surgery at Dubai’s NMC Specialty Hospital Al Nahda, one of DXH Group members, has been recognized as a Centre of Excellence in Hernia Surgery by the Asia Pacific Hernia Society (APHS). The recognition comes after the department dedicated resources to developing specialized care for abdominal wall hernia patients over the last 10 years. The certificate was presented to Dr. K.G. Mathew (HOD, Dept. Surgery at NMC Specialty Hospital Al Nahda, Dubai). The NMC Specialty Hospital Al Nahda is one of the specialized hospitals in the UAE that falls under the Dubai Health Experience and provides expertise in a number of fields.
