His Excellency Humaid Al Qutami, Director General of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) stressed the importance of cooperating with Saudi health institutions to exchange successful experiences and promote common goals, during his visit to a number of health institutions, bodies and facilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. During the visit the delegation met representatives and officials from the Saudi Food and Drug Authority, Saudi Commission for Health Specialities, King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre and National Unified Procurement Company (NUPCO) The DHA delegation learned about the achievements of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the field of organ transplantation, orthopaedic services, oncology and other specialized medical services, which the Kingdom has achieved remarkable success in the region and the world at large.

The DHA delegation listened to a detailed explanation about the efforts, achievements, plans and ambitious programs implemented by these institutions in accordance with their vision to provide the best quality services to patients and those working in the medical field. During his meetings with Saudi officials, Al Quttami praised the significant development achieved by the medical sector in Saudi Arabia, which has become a distinctive model and a successful experience attracting patients from different countries of the world.

He praised the research projects, infrastructure and continuous development witnessed in the sector. Al Qutami stressed the importance of this visit, which is in line with the directives of the authority to learn from the successful experiences of other entities and exchange experiences in the field of health. Al Qutami said the authority is confident that it will achieve its goals thanks to the support of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
