I received my medical degree from Alexandria University in Egypt and completed postgraduate training at Howard University Hospital in the US. I have over 15 years of experience and am certified in both Family Medicine and Integrative Holistic Medicine by the American Board. I am also a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Medicine and have a faculty position at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington DC as a Clinical Associate Professor in the family medicine department. I am also President of the National Arab American Medical Association in Washington DC, and have 13 years of experience working in the USA. While there, I was bestowed the Top Rated Doctor Award in 2010 and won American Top Family Doctor in 2007, 2008 and 2009 respectively.
