Dr. Buthainah Al Shunnar, founder and director of Al Shunnar Plastic Surgery clinic in Dubai, UAE is the first and only American Board Certified Emirati Female Plastic Surgeon.

Dr. Buthainah Al Shunnar and Dr. Kamal Sawan are both American Double Board Certified in Plastic and General Surgery from Johns Hopkins University Hospital in the USA.

Dr. Al Shunnar was awarded the “Distinguished Surgeon“ award in the 2018 Health award by H.E. Humaid Mohammed Obaid Al Qutami. Dr Buthainah was also selected as one of UAE's 22 Women of Distinction in 2018 by Brooklands New Media Group.
