I graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 1998. I went on to obtain an MRCS Diploma from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2002. The same year, I began my training in Neurosurgery and completed my research project and was awarded a Master's Degree in Neurosciences from the University of London in 2005. Thereafter, I joined the higher surgical training programme and successfully achieved an intercollegiate Fellowship of the Royal College FRCS (Neurosurgery) in 2009, and was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Higher Surgical Training in 2011. As a consultant Neurosurgeon, I have performed over 2000 procedures.
