The Health Tourism Council held it first DXH Group meeting in February. The meeting agenda discussed key activities and upcoming events in 2017.
Dr. Layla Al Marzouqi, the director of the Health Tourism Council , welcomed the new members of DXH Group which has increased from 24 to 42 since the launch of DXH in April 2016. The members have been carefully evaluated by the Dubai Health Authority to ensure quality, safety and service standards to inbound Dubai’s health tourists.
Dr. Layla said:” “DXH developed the group to focus on building strong ties with Dubai’s finest healthcare providers to create an unparalleled experience for Dubai visitors.”
Linda Abdullah, the consultant at the Health Tourism Council , announced during the meeting that DXH will be participating in a number of international events as well as roadshows across the world this year to promote Dubai Health Tourism.
DXH will kick-off its activities with the world’s leading travel show ITB Berlin from 8th to 12th March, 2017. In addition, it will launch the health tourism roadshow in Africa, where DXH officials and representatives from the group facilities will meet local government officials, health authorities and travel agents. The roadshow will take place in March and will include two stops: Nigeria on 16th & 17th and Ghana on the 20th & 21st.
